KANHA PARK, also known as Tiger Park the most picturesque place nestled in Central Indian Highlands falling in the districts of Mandla and Balaghat at MP. Densely forest area and it has along history of conservation and prides itself for being the first sanctuary of the country since 1935. Kanha was recently judged as the best maintained tourist friendly national park. Thanks to MP Govt. for preserving such a wonderful heritage without destroying its natural resources till today. The National park encompasses an area of 2059.7 sq km comprising 940 sq km core, 1009 sq km buffer zone and 110.79 sq km of satellite minicore of kanha, Phen sanctuary. The current population of the tigers in the park is guesstimate at 127.

I am glad to see all different kind of wild animals happily roaming in the forest. Those who are friendly with nature must not miss to visit this Famous Park.
