DHUANDHAR FALL.

BIRD EYE VIEW OF NARMADA RIVER

BHEDAGHAT or MARBLE ROCKS

It is one of the popular tourist spot in MP. People from different parts of India come to visit for its unique enchanted scenery and water fall. NARMADA RIVER one of famous river runs through this place flow towards UP. Abundant Marble Rocks are visible all around the river site. Beautiful marble carve of different design has been made by the resident for souvenir. Feel trill and enjoy looking at the unique water fall, beautiful marble rocks and it scenery.

The Marble Rocks, locally known as Bhedaghat, rise to 30m on either side of the Narmada and on moonlit nights produce a magical effect. The serene loveliness of the scene is one of cool quiet, the sunlight sparkling on the marble white pinnacles and casting dappled shadows on the pellucid waters. Nearby are the Dhuandhar Falls (smoke cascade) where the Narmada plunges through a narrow chasm. So powerful is the plunge that its roar is heard from a far distance. The falls and the breaking of the volume of the water at the crest present an awesome spectacle of nature’s power unleashed. All around the falls, one can shop for marble carvings.
